The Internships for High School Students Organization
We are an organization devoted to publishing news and resources that help democratize access to internships for high school students from all backgrounds across the United States and the globe. Our team of writers and editors is made up of students and graduates from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The University of Chicago, and Columbia University.
Doing internships in high school helped us to discover our passions and goals for the future, diving right into the career resources that college has to offer. However, as we experienced first-hand, the search for high school internships is long and perilous, with few online resources guiding the way. We decided to create one publication to collect and share the wisdom we acquired from our high school internship search, along with any new teen career readiness resources we stumbled upon. Thus, The Internships for High School Students Organization was born!
